Many of us want to believe more and get closer to God. The question is, how do we do this? Maybe we should strip down our inhibitions, unleash our imaginations and send an imaginary email to God. Maybe we need to find our faith before we can learn to communicate with God.
Perhaps you could send God an imaginary email in the form of a prayer. After all, God is always interested in hearing our prayers, right? You don’t have to worry about his choice. God always listens.
How would we start? Perhaps the subject line could read, “Dear God hear my prayer.” No, I’m afraid it will be too long. How about a “Prayer to God” That could do the trick nicely and we wouldn’t have the fear of spamming the recipient.
I think it’s best to leave all requests for help in the body of the text. What would you like to ask? Good health is often the way to go, but I think you need to be more personal and specific.
What if you told God that you are tired of fixing yourself with temporary quick fixes to control your weaknesses like smoking, eating or drinking too much? That should get God’s attention, right?
I wonder what God would say in response to us? Maybe he would tell us to stop trying to fix ourselves and find more faith so we can be strong enough to overcome our weaknesses with his help. Perhaps we could use our imaginations to develop our own personal faith tag to replace all other temporary places and help us deal with our problems. Maybe we could use our faith.
You don’t have to worry about the address or click the send button in this imaginary email. I believe that God is always interested in hearing our prayers, no matter what form they take.
Are you ready to send a message of faith to God?
You don’t have to worry about sending this email to the wrong address because God is always with us and has a universal address. You don’t even need to type this email with your word processor. You can only think about it.
Whatever you do, try to trust that your faith in God will help you overcome your weaknesses. Don’t try to fix yourself. Try to find more faith so that you can learn to cope with your personal problems and the problems of our time, such as terrorism and natural disasters.
Don’t forget to leave your personal signature in your email to God. It’s not that he doesn’t know who you are; He may just be waiting to hear that you are becoming a person of faith. It might help if you mention this in your signature block.
An example could read something like this:
A statement that you are becoming a person of faith
Declaration that you believe in God
Your email address (required)
Your phone number (not required)
God knows where to find you.
Are you ready to stop connecting yourself?
Are you ready to become a person of faith?
God may be waiting to hear from you.
Are you ready to communicate with God? Do you feel in your heart that you are a worthy person who has the right to speak to God? Have you spent your life doing good deeds and caring about other people? The rest is up to you.
