Let’s look at temperament and mood face to face. When we observe people, we either see character i.e. a person’s nature, character, personality or we check a person’s mood, whether they are sad, happy, angry, etc. Mood and character can refer to similar feelings, so let’s refine and separate them in detail.
Consistency of certain types of emotional reactions determines “NATURE” . Temperament is a view of personality that is revealed as a disposition and tendency to experience moods.
An extraordinary characteristic of temperament is that it is likely to be continuous and as such indicates which emotions play an influential role in a person’s life.
On the other hand, MOOD is a temporary emotional reaction. Mood and Temperament may refer to similar feelings, but TEMPERAMENT INFLUENCES A PERSON’S LIFE ADJUSTMENT CHARACTERISTICS, while Mood ONLY INFLUENCES CURRENT FITNESS.
Due to the constancy of temperament, we can predict how a person will react and react in certain situations in a certain way. We cannot guess and predict a person’s mood at a certain time or moment. But if we know that a person has a personality/character or his character is on average happy and cheerful, we can be sure that he/she will not react/react with irritation or irritation to even a small problem, but may solve it pleasantly.
Distinguishing a person with an unscrupulous nature or character, he may respond in a rigid and angry manner to the nature of the problem or obstacle.
He may also develop an attitude of expressing his anger and stiffness, as he did consistently (usually) in the past, with explosive temper, blaming, criticizing, verbally or physically abusing/attacking because of a problem/failure/obstacle. person / object / pet or anyone and anything can be.
Although MOODS seem to respond in a similar way to temperament and the responses are less obvious. Compared to temperament, MOODS are short-term/temporary feelings and do not refer to a person’s way of reacting emotionally. Moods are determined by the emotional state of the mind and can often change from time to time. Just like you can eat snacks while watching a movie or drink tea/coffee to vary.
So the biggest difference is that moods are short-lived and temperament is long-lived. Always remember that we are what we repeatedly do. So it is better to analyze your character by comparing the good, the bad and the ugly.
