Responsible email marketing is one of the best ways to build your business quickly and increase your profits dramatically while keeping your costs very low. Yet only a handful of online marketers use it to build their business…
Unsolicited email marketing, aka spam, is a highly controversial topic. However, many businesses don’t realize that there is a huge difference between “spam” and responsible email marketing. I do not teach or endorse “spam marketing”. As you will see in the next chapter, spam can cause you a lot of problems. It’s just not worth practicing.
Very few people know how to effectively use this powerful tool to promote their business. A lot of people get into a lot of trouble when they don’t use it properly. This is why they spam others without knowing it. Many others never try to use it because they are unfamiliar with it or fear getting into trouble.
As a result, email marketing remains the Internet’s best-kept marketing secret.
Why Email? Why is email marketing so amazing?
When you use responsible email marketing as I show you in this guide, you will find that it is very safe, reliable, lightning fast and will not cause you any kind of problems.
Responsible email marketing is a fast and affordable way to build your business and increase profits. I don’t know of any other method that can generate profits as quickly and efficiently as email marketing can.
Done right, email marketing is very effective because:
It only costs pennies to implement, but the profit potential is huge. You can completely eliminate postage, printing and mailing costs when sending your offers to potential customers. If your offer isn’t performing well, you can improve it and resubmit it easily – it still won’t cost you much. It delivers your hottest offers to prospects and customers instantly, sometimes in seconds. Sometimes you can start receiving orders just minutes after sending messages. You can send product information by email or answer questions from potential customers in minutes – they don’t have to wait 2-4 weeks in the mail. You can quickly build a strong relationship with your customers by keeping in touch with them regularly and thus continue to sell products to them for many years. It is practically the fastest way to build your business and start earning profit immediately.
Cost of Marketing The very low cost is probably the biggest benefit that businesses experience when using email marketing. Whether you send one email or a thousand, the cost is about the same…just pennies when you compare it to the cost of sending 1,000 pieces of advertising through regular mail.
Using regular mail to send out new product offers, customer surveys, or information about special offers and sales can get very expensive, very quickly.
Simply contacting customers regularly to build good relationships and build trust can be quite expensive if you use regular mail. Communicating with customers is something that all companies should do regularly. However, most companies cannot afford it.
Businesses have to spend money on stationery, printing, postage and postage every time they send information by regular mail. In addition, when using regular mail, the larger the mailing list, the more money (and time) is spent each time a mailing is sent. This is not the case with email.
Also, if your offer doesn’t perform as well as you expected it to, you won’t make a profit – you’ll actually lose money. All the time and money you spend on mailing is wasted. Then you have to spend more time and money preparing, printing, filling and mailing the new offer. Most companies cannot afford this kind of test marketing. As a result, they either go out of business or lose a completely viable customer base.
With email marketing, you don’t lose as much if your offer doesn’t perform well. You can quickly improve the offer and test it again soon after. You don’t have to spend money on printing and postage, or wait a few days (or weeks) for a printer to finish your job.
The “old” way of doing business Most companies don’t realize that their business plans have major flaws. Here are the most common ones:
High operating costs: They use regular mail to send product offers and communicate with their customers. As we’ve noted, this is a very expensive way to do business and can drain your budget very quickly.
Low conversion rate They advertise and attract a lot of potential customers, but are only able to convert a handful of those prospects into “customers”. They spend money on advertising to find opportunities for their products. They then spend time and money converting some of these into potential buyers – usually a very small percentage of the pool of potential customers. Those who buy their products become customers. Those who don’t buy are forever lost. (Not the smartest way to do business.)
No Repeat Business They “unknowingly” treat customers like disposable napkins. Of the handful of prospects who convert to customers and buy products, most or all of them end up being “one-time” buyers. After the first sale, they are forgotten and the company spends more money on advertising to find new customers. Wrong, wrong, very wrong! That’s not the way to do business. It’s a very effective way to blow your advertising budget and lose your shirt.
It’s the old way of doing things. Unfortunately, most companies don’t know any better. Therefore, they unknowingly commit financial suicide.
It’s no wonder that 1 in 4 out of 5 new businesses go out of business within 2-3 years, if not sooner.
The “New” Way of Doing Business When you use email marketing, as I will reveal to you in this guide, you can eliminate all three old ways of doing business. You can then replace them with techniques that are inexpensive, lightning fast, and give you more money for advertising.
Responsible email marketing allows you to:
send product offers, updates and keep in touch with your customers very cheaply. convert many more potential customers into loyal customers and easily keep in touch with those who haven’t bought yet. to sell to these customers again and again for years to come without spending any more money instead of just selling to them once and then abandoning them. (A company must spend time and money to acquire each new customer. This investment of time and money should not be wasted.) Unfortunately, these new ways of doing business are still “secrets” that most companies do not know about.
When you learn a new way of doing business, you learn to milk every penny of your advertising dollars for all it’s worth instead of wasting most of it like many companies do.
I’m not exaggerating one bit. This is real! I’ve done it and I’m still doing it now. Very few other “smart” marketers are using this technique effectively and reaping huge financial benefits! A few smarter big companies do that too. But most of the online business world, both big and small, has yet to catch on. Fortunately, you’re not one of those who don’t know.
You will learn firsthand how a “select” group of online marketers and some big names like Microsoft and Excite are using the best marketing technology on the Internet to dramatically increase their profits!
Note: I do not guarantee that you will make a “certain amount” of money using the techniques in this guide. There’s no way I can guarantee that because I don’t know who you are, what your skill level is, or what kind of business you own. Every person and company is different. Your success in email marketing depends on your efforts. Your success also depends on how closely you follow the steps outlined in this guide. I also show what not to do. This is as important, in fact more important than learning what to do. You see, if you get it wrong, you will pay dearly. You will be immediately marked as a spammer. And trust me, you don’t want that!
In the next chapter, you’ll find out why “spam” and “responsible email marketing” are so completely different. It’s important that you see the difference very clearly—so important that I have a whole chapter dedicated to it. If you want to be successful in email marketing, don’t skip any chapter in this guide, especially the next one.
Now let’s find out why responsible email marketing and spam are so different – almost like night and day.
